The Ministry of Health records 3 new cases and 5 recoveries from COVID-19, increasing total recoveries in Bahrain to 1,500. The recovered cases have been discharged from dedicated treatment centres.
By Bahrain reached the 1,500 recoveries mark.
Bahrain tested a total of 129,694 until now. There are 1,532 active cases. These include 1,531 stable cases and 1 critical case. 1,500 people have been discharged. Only 8 deaths have been reported until now. This takes the total cases in Bahrain to 3,040.

Bahrain has announced the death of a 36-year-old expatriate male on 23rd April, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.
The deceased male had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
