Manama : The Bahrain Drag Racing Championship competition continues to heat up as the season reaches its midway point with the third round this week at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
The four-day, action-packed meeting is scheduled to kick off Tuesday and Wednesday night with back-to-back evenings of Test and Tune, after which Qualifying will be held on Thursday.
The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East will then host Race Day on Friday with intense racing down BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip, a member of the prestigious Worldwide Network of the US-based National Hot Rod Association.
The championship has witnessed two exciting rounds with huge turnouts each time, and all signs are pointing towards even more thrills and tighter battles in the 13 classes for both cars and bikes.
Test and Tune will be held between 6 pm and midnight on the two nights, while racing will begin at 4 pm on Qualifying and Race Day.
The 2022/2023 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship continues until February, following this week’s round, the fourth and penultimate meet will take place from January 31 to February 3 which will pave the way for the season-finale from February 21 to 24.
