    Bahrain Government Authorities distributed 30,000 Iftar kits

    Iftar kits had been distributed to thousands of people who are suffering amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Bahrain. Several volunteers have participated in the awareness campaign to maintain the distance and to wear masks and gloves. Around 25,000 to 30,000 Iftar kits are being distributed every day in cooperation and coordination with different governorates.

    “These Iftar kits will be distributed without considering the religion and race.”, said Adliya MP Mr. Ammar Al Bannai.

    The initiative deepens the principle of societal partnership promoted by the Ministry of Interior comes in cooperation and coordination with the national campaign “Feena Khair” launched by HH Shaikh Naser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser and Humanitarian Foundation. This initiative also seeks to enhance the culture of generosity and dedication volunteerism among the Bahrain society and communities.

    The Governorate and the Police department mentioned they would continue to distribute meals throughout the holy month of Ramadan. Iftar kits will also be distributed to several associations and communities.

    This gesture of humanity by the Bahrain Govt has helped thousands of people suffering during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the Kingdom.
