Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Bahrain concluded with highlighting aspects of joint cooperation in the investment, economic, commercial, health, scientific and technological sectors between Bahrain and India. Indian Prime Minister reached Bahrain on Saturday in the last leg of a three-nation state visit trip. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the kingdom. The two sides reviewed deep-rooted historic relations of friendship binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India.
HM the King and the Indian Prime Minister discussed efforts to expand joint cooperation in vital sectors, benefit from expertise and investment opportunities and potential in both countries as part of their common strategic interests. PM Modi also launched a USD 4.2 million redevelopment project of the 200-year-old Lord Sri Krishna temple in the Bahraini capital.
