NIAD stressed that all efforts are now directed towards hosting the exhibition in March 2022. The postponement provides an opportunity for businesses to recover from the ramifications of the pandemic and start marketing their goods and services locally and internationally. It will also allow the organizers to ensure the continuity of the growth achieved by this important platform over the years to match the pace of the progress achieved in the Kingdom in the horticultural sector.

The Bahrain International Garden Show is held annually under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and it attracts about 45,000 visitors every year from across the world. The show provides the participating companies and institutions a wider reach for their products and services to enter new markets. There are also opportunities to establish joint ventures, increase trade and stimulate agricultural tourism in Bahrain.
