Manama :  Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, emphasized distinguished and longstanding historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. She noted the remarkable development of bilateral cooperation thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Jordanian monarch His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussain.

This came during the signing today of an executive programme for cooperation in the youth field between the Bahraini government and the Jordanian one for the years 2023-2025. The programme was signed by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Jordanian Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya on the sidelines of the official visit of Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh.

The Minister of Youth Affairs noted that the agreement signed by both countries is in concordance with the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to broaden the scope of cooperation with brotherly countries. She added that it is also in line with the directives of Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to develop the capabilities of Bahraini youngsters.
