Bahrain will be lifting the 10-day quarantine requirement for all incoming passengers.

The compulsory 10-day quarantine will be lifted for all the passengers who test negative, following their test upon arrival in Bahrain.

The passengers will still be required to pay the cost of two COVID-19 tests, an arrival test, and a test to be conducted after their stay in Bahrain for 10 days, at a total of BHD 60.

Passengers will need to sign a declaration that they will follow the Kingdom’s Ministry of Health regulations to self-isolate until a negative test result comes back and will be required to download and activate the ‘BeAware Bahrain’ application.

Citizens and residents, as well as travellers staying for a duration longer than 10 days, must test again on the 10th day of their arrival

Passengers who test positive upon arrival will be contacted on the information provided to health authorities as they were tested.

The Bahrain health ministry announced on Thursday the kingdom had conducted over 1 million COVID-19 PCR diagnostic tests.

“Passing the one million test mark is an important milestone for Bahrain. From the outset our mantra has been test, test, test. This achievement has only been made possible by the dedicated efforts of all frontline medical staff and first responders,” said HE Faeqa bint Saeed Alsaleh, the Minister of Health.
