Members of the Bahrain Odia Samaj celebrated the Holy Purnima and Holi at the residence of Founder of the Odia Samaj Dr. Arun Kumar Praharaj as per the rituals of Odisha which beautifully reflected the Odia culture on foreign soil.
The event included Odia folk dance, Holi colour festivities and beautiful tasteful and authentic Odia cuisine which was enjoyed by all. Especially, the children enjoyed the festival the most and expressed that it was a great opportunity for them to learn about our rich cultural heritage of India and message for love and harmony.
The Founder of Bahrain Odia Samaj Dr. Arun Kumar Prahraj said, “We celebrated this festival with great joy and prayed to the Lord Almighty for world peace, harmony and prosperity of all”.
He also conveyed his best wishes to the Indian diasporas and the people of Bahrain and said the festival of colour has truly become an international festival now.
