    Bahrain records 6,128 mask violations

    Bahrain has recorded 6,128 violations of not wearing the face mask in public places and commercial stores since the implementation of the decision, as the Northern Governorate Police Directorate recorded 2000 violations, and the Police Directorate registered the Capital Governorate 1265 violations, while the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate recorded 1201 violations, and 979 violations were registered by the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.

    The Operations Department headed by General Security recorded 611 violations, while the General Administration of Ports Security recorded the least of all, 72 violations.

    The Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs called on all citizens and residents to have social distancing in public places, markets, shops and parks with a commitment to not gathering for more than 5 people and the need to wearing masks, stressing the continuity of awareness campaigns that aim to enhance awareness among citizens and residents of the importance of commitment and support for the kingdom’s efforts in facing the coronavirus pandemic.

    The country has recorded a total of 25,267 cases of which 19,781 have recovered and 78 deaths.
