Bahrain has reported 423 new cases of coronavirus, among 252 expatriate workers, 167 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 4 are travel-related, after conducting over 9,700 additional COVID-19 tests on Thursday.
The death toll stands at 94, as two new deaths were reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 635 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 27,837 of which 22,583 have recovered, which means that over 81 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,160 active cases.
Also, there are 82 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 51 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 574,105 tests, as per the government statics.
