Bahrain : A Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) delegation held a session of talks with Russian officials and discussed joint economic and investment cooperation.
Led by BCCI Chairman Sameer bin Abdulla Nass, the delegation also included First Deputy Chairman Khalid Mohammed Najeebi, Resources and Food Committee Chairman Khalid Ali Al Ameen.
The Russian side, which included the Trade Ministry Undersecretary and other officials representing VTB Bank and other government entities, discussed investment and trade facilities provided by the governments in both countries.
The two sides also highlighted proposals and plans aimed to develop economic relations, expand cooperation in key sectors and boost the volume of trade exchanges, in addition to exchanging trade delegations to attend exhibitions In both Bahrain and Russia.
The two sides agreed to set up a joint committee, headed by the BCCI First Deputy Chairman, to follow up on coordination between business sectors, to enhance trade ties, expand the framework of joint cooperation and boost investments.
