The number of COVID-19 cases in September has risen over 2,600 when compared to August.
“The recklessness in following the guidelines by the public has resulted in the number of cases increased to 5,715,” said Dr. Waleed Al Manea, Undersecretary of the MOH in a press conference held by the National team to combat COVID-19.
The reason for the increased number of cases in September is due to the gatherings during Ashura.
Al-Manea called upon everyone to follow the guidelines and ‘Commit For Bahrain’.
