Bahrain is treating both the residents & citizens equally without any prejudice, and give access to all facilities for everyone, said Dr. Waleed Al Manea, Undersecretary of the MOH at a press conference held by the National team to combat COVID-19.

He was answering a question from Starvision News, “As Residents are treated in a congested center, which may lead to a deteriorated health condition, is Bahrain prepared for that critical situation.”

He said, it has been categorized as 3 stages, isolation center, treatment centers and special care centers.

“There is no partiality made between residents and citizens. Equal treatments have been given to all without any prejudice.”

“Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in touch with every embassies in Bahrain to reach out to all the communities and taken all the preventive measures to protect all residents.”

“Anyone can complain if they face any issues, and the necessary measures will be taken.”

“MOH is following all precautionary measures against the virus,” he stressed.

He also recalled the importance of wearing a mask in public spaces and urged everyone to call 444 if any symptoms faced, and to stay in isolation.

There are several success stories from Team Bahrain who have turned the virus challenge into an opportunity to develop and improve and launched many creative initiatives to support the national efforts.

Currently, Bahrain is the least affected country in the GCC.

Over 1,700 asymptomatic active COVID-19 cases have applied for optional home self-isolation.
