Bahrain is having the lowest fatalities (12) and the second-lowest total confirmed cases (6,956) among the GCC countries. It is a great achievement for a country that did not impose a lockdown.

Saudi Arabia has the most fatalities and COVID-19 cases in GCC.

Bahrain is the first country in the world to offer COVID-19 test results by WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

Bahrain’s contact tracing app ‘BeAware’ has over 400,000 downloads, making it listed as one of the best Middle Eastern COVID-19 apps by Forbes Middle East.

Bahrain has announced 6,956 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which most of the cases are among expatriate workers.

2,910 recoveries have also been reported in the country.

Bahrain has so far conducted 236,828 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
