Cairo : Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa invited participants to review Bahrain Declaration to refer to peace and coexistence.
Shaikh Khalid participated in the 32nd Conference of the Egyptian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs under the theme: “The Contract of Citizenship and its Impact on Achieving Societal and Global Peace” under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
He stressed that national policies concerned with tolerance and coexistence is the essence of development and prosperity in any human society.
The chairman referred to Bahrain’s fundamentals since its founding in 1762, all the way to the reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He reviewed the center’s efforts to promote tolerance and coexistence in the Kingdom and across the globe.
