Bahrain : Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor received National Evangelical Church Pastor and Head of Al Bayareq Al-Baidha Society, Reverend Hani Aziz and other priests representing Christian denominations residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The minister stressed Bahrain’s firm commitment to protecting the freedom of religion and belief, which reflects the King’s approach spanning centuries.
“This approach was further consolidated by the development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa”, he said, commending the support of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Rev. Aziz and the priests affirmed that Bahrain is a model for tolerance and coexistence between religions, praising the support received by churches and temples in the Kingdom, which provided the opportunity for adherents of different religions to live freely.
