    Bahrain’s pioneering human resources development experience highlighted

    Bahrain : Labour and Social Development Minister and Board of Directors Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, today received the South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, Hae-Kwan Chung.

    The minister reviewed Bahrain’s efforts to develop human resources, launch employment programmes and consolidate social protection for workers, in addition to implementing many policies and initiatives aimed at attracting more investments thanks to its business-friendly environment resulting from its advanced legislation and laws, calling for further bolstering the existing bilateral cooperation, and taking advantage of the two countries’ pioneering experiences in the fields of labour and social protection.

    The envoy lauded Bahrain’s attractive work environment and advanced labour legislation, as well as its increasing interest in the human resources and their professional development, praising the kingdom’s progress strides across various fields during this prosperous era.

    He expressed the South Korean government’s desire to enhance cooperation with the kingdom in the development fields, adding that he is ready to transfer his country’s pioneering vocational training experience to Bahrain in order to take advantage of it in preparing, developing and qualifying its national competencies in the promising sectors.
