    Bahrain’s youth empowerment strides stressed

    Bahrain :  Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, underlined the great confidence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the capabilities of the Bahraini youth.

    He pointed out keenness to invest in Bahraini youngsters, being the real national asset. He stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has launched many initiatives and strategies to empower the youth and enable them to assume their status as present partners and future leaders.

    Marking the International Youth Day designated by the United Nations in 1999 to be observed on August 12, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed the government’s keenness, under the leadership of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the Bahraini youth and tap on their creativity potentials at the local and international level.

    He noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain has shown a unique youth model at the regional and international level by providing the Bahraini youngsters with the academic and training opportunities to enroll them in the kingdom’s development process with innovative methods to speed up achievement of the global agenda of sustainable growth.
