Bahrain : The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC).
The MoU aims to enhance strategic cooperation, exchange knowledge and expertise, in addition to applying the best services in order to hone operational skills and capabilities across various work fields, including artificial intelligence.
On the occasion, Bapco Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, praised the effective cooperation between Bapco and the NVTC, noting that the MoU will contribute to further bolstering cooperation between the two sides and supporting their efforts to empower Bahraini women.
Dr. Jawahery highlighted Bapco’s vision on extending bridges of cooperation with distinguished training institutions, especially the NVTC which provides outstanding and high-level in vocational training.
He added that the MoU would pave the way for exploring areas of cooperation and promising opportunities that would benefit both sides, as well as increase the exchange of knowledge in developing the skills of individuals working in the industrial field.
He indicated that the ambitious partnership between the two sides reflects Bapco’s commitment to developing its national competencies and exchanging information between the two sides, in line with the visions of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Directors Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the directives of Bapco Board of Directors Chairman, Abdulla bin Jehad Al-Zain.
