    BCCI congratulates workers on Labour Day

    The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has extended congratulations to workers at various production sites in the kingdom, marking the International Workers’ Day, which is observed all over the world on May 1.

    BCCI also affirmed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unlimited support and care for Bahraini workers.

    In a statement marking the occasion, BCCI said that Bahrain is celebrating this year’s Labour Day following its multiple health, labour and development achievements and gains in the past period, thanks to the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting that the government is keen to support the labour sector in order to enable it to overcome the economic effects of the pandemic and move towards the recovery phase.

    BCCI added that it is looking forward to consolidating cooperation will all production parties to develop the labour sector at various commercial, investment and industrial companies and institutions, in a way that would develop the national economy.

    BCCI stressed that the event is an opportunity for the current generations of workers to achieve more excellence and progress in the labour fields to contribute to the development and prosperity of the kingdom, following in the footsteps of the fathers and forefathers, who exerted strenuous efforts in building the nation in all fields and at all levels.
