    BCCI holds virtual meeting

    Chairman of Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass invited registered members of the Chamber to participate in the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting, which will be held virtually via electronic means of communication which will be held today in accordance with Article (15) of Decree-Law No. (48) for the year 2012 with regard to Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    In this regard, the Chamber explained that the meeting will be held virtually due to the exceptional circumstances as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and in line with the directives and national efforts to combat the virus and curb its spread.

    The meeting will discuss the items listed in the agenda as mentioned in Article (17) of the law, these include ratification of the Minutes of the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held on 25th April 2019; discuss and approve the Annual Report of the Board of Directors on the activities of the chamber for the year 2019; discuss and approve the financial position and the report of the External Auditor for the Financial Year 2019; appointment of an External Auditor; and any other business subject to Article (18) of the Executive by law of the chamber.

    Nass highlighted that all the registered members who paid their annual participation fees and any financial dues to the chamber 7 days prior to the date of the meeting are entitled to participate in the meeting and exercise their right to vote according to Article No. (14) of the Chamber’s Law.
