Bahrain : The Director of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh received Indonesia’s Ambassador to Bahrain Ardi Hermawan, and the embassy’s executive team.
The meeting discussed various issues of shared interest, including mutually beneficial collaborations between Bahrain and Indonesia in the field of training and development.
During the diplomats’ visit to the new headquarters, the BIBF team presented a comprehensive overview of the various training opportunities and development initiatives offered at the BIBF in Banking, Finance, Islamic Finance, Insurance, Digital Transformation, Project Management, Anti-Money Laundering, Sustainable Development, Leadership, and other trending topics and emerging areas of business.
The ambassador was taken on a tour of the new building to see the various facilities available and the educational infrastructure that offers students the best training and educational environment.
“It is truly an honour for me and my team from the Embassy to have such opportunity to visit the BIBF new premises and to have a fruitful discussion,” Ambassador Hermawan said.
“We admire the BIBF’s role and contribution in promoting Islamic banking and finance in the region. We are also looking forward to further cooperation and exploring new ideas of collaboration with the BIBF in the near future”.
Al Shaikh said they were honoured to welcome Ambassador Hermawan at the new building.
“Many initiatives of collaboration between the BIBF and various training institutions in Indonesia were discussed, which will further deepen the strong and cordial relations between our two countries, and strengthen the institute’s position as a pioneer in providing high quality training and development for human capital globally,” he said.
“We are committed to providing the financial services sector with the best qualifications the international market has to offer, through our local expertise and international affiliations.”
A growing number of delegations have been visiting the institute to discuss ways of cooperation and become acquainted with how training arrangements are done for human capital development regionally and globally.
