Bahrain : BRAVE CF 56 will mark not only the very first event promoted by the truly global MMA promotion in Serbia but also wrap up the organization’s 2021 calendar. With the fight night scheduled to take place on December 18, the first fighters are already arriving in Belgrade.
BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid who expressed his excitement about the promotion’s inaugural venture to the Balkans country.
“We are excited to be in Serbia for the first time,” says Shahid.
“BRAVE CF 56 is in partnership with the Serbian national MMA federation who are some real visionaries and have big plans for development of the Sport in Serbia.”
BRAVE CF President also hinted at the long-term collaboration between the promotion and Serbia and future plans for MMA in the country.
“We are here to introduce a long term national project that will focus on building global MMA stars from Serbia, bring some entertaining and high level fights, and bring a new sports economic industry to Serbia through BRAVE CF,” says Shahid.
A total of 10 international fighters will be competing at BRAVE CF 56, more than one per fight, with eight bouts squaring off a Serbian athlete against a foreigner and Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al-Qahtani vs Slovenia’s Nejc Preložnik being a 100% international contest.
From all the fighters traveling to Serbia, no one will face a longer journey than Rolando Dy, star of the main event of the evening, who will endure a nearly ten-thousand-mile trip between Manila and Belgrade.
With the ten international fighters and nine Serbian stars in town, the BRAVE CF 56 Fight Week will kick-off with a series of scheduled activities culminating with the epic fight night on December 18, at the Bel Expo Centar.
