Bahrain : The President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro paid a visit today to the Economic Development Board (EDB) in Bahrain Bay.
This came on the sidelines of the Brazilian President’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad Al Khalifa.
President Bolsonaro was received by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and other officials.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy welcomed President Bolsonaro’s visit to the EDB headquarters to be updated about Bahrain’s strides, led by HM the King, and the EDB strategic and executive plans, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
EDB Chief Executive Officer Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan highlighted the EDB role in supporting Bahrain’s economic performance and achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 Economic Vision.
He also highlighted the EDB facilities and services for businessmen, outlining promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The prospects of economic, trade and investment cooperation were discussed during the visit.
