100 new coronavirus cases were announced by the Health Ministry today. According to an official statement, 78 of the cases are expatriate workers while 20 are those who came in contact with active cases and two have returned from Iran.
4 new recoveries have been reported in Bahrain.
Bahrain tested a total of 85126 until now. There are 1107 active cases. These include 1105 stable cases and 2 critical cases. 759 people have been discharged. Only 7 deaths have been reported until now. This takes the total cases in Bahrain to 1873.
The Ministry of Health announced the death of a 60-year-old Bahraini citizen on 14th April, who has underlying chronic diseases and health issues.
The deceased got the necessary treatment and care around the clock by the specialized medical team and all the cases in isolation and treatment centers.
