    Coronavirus: Bahrain records 76 new cases, today’s toll at 240

    Bahrain has reported 76 new COVID-19 cases, of which 45 are among expatriate workers, 30 were a contact of an active case, and 1 was travel-related, this takes today’s total cases to 240.

    These newly registered cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 8,414 and there are 4,306 active cases of which 7 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health. 

    There are currently 30 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment.

    MOH also reported 92 new recoveries from COVID-19, taking today’s recoveries to 223. This brings the total recoveries in the country to 4,096. Bahrain has shown a significant recovery rate in the past days.

    Bahrain has so far conducted 269,179 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.

    So far Bahrain has reported 12 fatalities due to health complications.
