Bahrain has reported 656 new cases of coronavirus, among 435 expatriate workers, 218 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel-related, after conducting over 10,100 additional COVID-19 tests on Wednesday.
The death toll stands at 92, as 5 new deaths were reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 617 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 27,414 of which 21,948 have recovered, which means that over 80 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,374 active cases.
Also, there are 84 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 52 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 564,365 tests, as per the government statics.
