Bahrain has reported 468 new cases of coronavirus, among 273 expatriate workers, 176 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 19 are travel related, after conducting 7,776 additional COVID-19 tests.
The death toll stands at 32, as 1 new death was reported in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, 378 additional recoveries from COVID-19 were reported.
The total cases have driven to 16,667 of which 11,487 have recovered making over 68 percent of the confirmed cases to recover from the virus. Currently, there are 5,148 active cases.
Also, there are 113 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 14 are in a critical condition.
So far the country has conducted 393,910 tests, which is among the highest when looking at the country’s population.
Expatriates are having the highest RO (R-Naught) in the country.
