Bahrain has reported 52 new COVID-19 cases among 39 expatriate workers and 13 contacts of active cases. The newly admitted cases were found after testing 3000 individuals in the past 24 hours.
These new cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 9,223 and there are 4,293 active cases of which 9 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.
There are currently 25 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment.
MOH also reported 163 new recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 4,916.
Bahrain has so far conducted 285,373 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
So far Bahrain has reported 14 fatalities.
