    Coronavirus: Bahrain reports highest daily cases and recoveries, 3 deaths; surpasses 11,000 cases

    Bahrain has reported 495 new COVID-19 cases among 341 expatriate workers and 154 contacts of active cases. It is the highest daily cases of coronavirus since the first case in Bahrain.

    These new cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 11,288 and there are 4,597 active cases, according to the Ministry of Health. 

    MOH also reported 847 new recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 6,673. It is the highest daily recoveries ever reported in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

    So far Bahrain has reported 18 fatalities. Of which 3 of them are reported in 12 hours.

    There are currently 43 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 13 are in a critical condition.

    Bahrain has so far conducted 314,823 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
