Bahrain has reported 45 new COVID-19 cases, of which 41 are among expatriate workers, 3 are travel-related and 1 is a contact of an active case, this takes today’s cases to 356.
These newly registered cases bring up the total cases in the kingdom to 7,888 and there are 4,308 active cases of which 9 are critical and the rest stable, according to the Ministry of Health.
MOH also reported 234 new recoveries from COVID-19, taking today’s recoveries to 604. It is the highest recoveries in a single day tally. This brings the total recoveries in the country to 3,568.
Bahrain has so far conducted 255,633 COVID-19 tests for the early detection of the virus.
So far Bahrain has reported 12 fatalities due to health complications.
