As of now, 5,914 people have been cured with a recovery rate of over 20%. 1,975 new cases were reported, taking the total to 26,917 people. A total number of 826 deaths have been reported in India as of now. 47 deaths were reported in 24 hours.
Maharashtra tops the list with the most cases and the most deaths.
The Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan today visited Trauma Centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). During his visit, he visited various wards in the state-of-the-art building having isolation facility for COVID-19 patients. During his visit, he spoke to some COVID-19 affected patients through video call over the phone.
