Coronavirus: Kuwait records 1008 new cases, 11 deaths

Kuwait has reported 1008 new coronavirus cases, taking the total confirmed cases in the country 26,192, according to the Ministry of Health.

11 patients died of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 205.

883 new recoveries have been reported in the country, raising the total recoveries to 10,156.

Kuwait has done 3,661 NP swab tests in the past 24 hours, as the country ramps up its efforts to test more people and detect cases early, according to the health ministry spokesman.

So far, Kuwait has conducted more than 290,013 coronavirus tests.
