Oman has registered five deaths and 1,374 new cases of coronavirus, of which the majority of the case are from citizens by 839 and the rest 535 from foreigners, taking the total cases to 43,929.
The death toll reached 193 after reporting the new deaths. Most of the deceased are elderly people.
Meanwhile, 851 new recoveries were announced, bringing the total to 26,169.
3,834 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, across the sultanate.
