Saudi Arabia has reported 2,235 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 74,795, according to the health ministry.
Ministry also reported 2,148 recoveries on Monday, taking the overall number of recovered cases to 45,668.
Meanwhile, 9 more people succumbed to the deadly virus taking the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities in the Kingdom to 399.
Riyadh topped the list of new cases with 765 infections, followed by Makkah (416), Jeddah (350), Madinah (184), Dammam (113) and Al Jubail (74).
The ministry continues to urge people to only go out when absolutely necessary and to avoid crowds in order to not contract or spread the virus.
