Saudi Arabia has reported 2,399 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 72,560, according to the health ministry.
There were 2,284 recoveries on Thursday, taking the overall number of recovered cases to 43,520, according to the MOH.
Meanwhile, 11 more people succumbed to the deadly virus taking the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities in the Kingdom to 390.
Riyadh topped the list of new cases with 742 infections, followed by Makkah (611), Jeddah (474), Dammam (136), Khobar (120), Al Jubail (82) and Madinah (69).
The ministry continues to urge people to only go out when absolutely necessary and to avoid crowds in order to not contract or spread the virus.
