    Foreign Minister holds meeting with Hungarian counterpart

    Bahrain : Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani,  held a meeting today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, alongside his accompanying delegation, to participate in the Bahrain-Hungary Joint Economic Commission.

    The meeting discussed the solid friendly relations between Bahrain and Hungary and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various political, economic and development fields.

    The two ministers also highlighted political and security developments in the region and regional and international issues of common interest. They also shed light on the importance of consolidating friendly relations between the two countries and further advancing joint cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.

    The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Hungary, residing in Berlin, Abdulla Abdullatif Abdullla and the Chief of European Affairs, Ahmed Ebrahim Al Qarainees.

    On the Hungarian side, it was attended by the Deputy State Secretary for Development of Southern Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, László Váradi, and the Hungarian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Balázs Selmeci, as well as a number of officials.
