New York: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met at the United Nations headquarters today with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Antonio Guterres, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
They discussed cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UN and its various agencies. They also highlighted the efforts of the UN in maintaining international security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, H.E. Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Ruwaie, and the Acting Chief of Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Shaikha Aisha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa.
