Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received a parliamentary delegation from the UK Abraham Accords Group, chaired by Dr. Liam Fox, Member of the UK House of Commons, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
They discussed the group’s efforts to spread the values of peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence emanating from the Abraham Accords signed between the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America and the State of Israel.
They also reviewed opportunities to enhance communication and cooperation among these countries for the benefit of their peoples and the peoples of the region as well.
They also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the group, by consolidating the principles of the Abraham Accords and spreading the values of tolerance, fraternity and peaceful coexistence, as well as adopting effective initiatives to achieve common goals.
