    Fully vaccinated persons to be allowed to enter public facilities, use public transport in Saudi Arabia

    Riyadh : An official source at Saudi the Ministry of Interior stated that referring to what was previously announced, regarding the requirement of immunisation starting on Sunday, August 1, 2021, in order to enter government, private and educational activities, events and facilities and use of public transportation, and based on what the health authorities have submitted about what has been proven by the competent national and international scientific authorities of the importance of completing the doses of the approved vaccine to control the spread of the virus, especially the variant strains, the Ministry of Interior decided the following:

    First: Requiring immunisation with two doses of approved vaccines starting at 6:00 a.m on Sunday October 10, 2021, with regard to the following:

    1- Entering any economic, commercial, cultural, recreational, sports or tourism activity.

    2- Entering any cultural, scientific, social or recreational event.

    3- Entering any governmental or private establishment.

    4- Boarding planes and getting any public transportation.

     

    Second: The excluded categories in Tawakkalna application are excluded from taking the vaccine.

    The source stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures and approved protocols.

    The source explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation.
