Gulf Air, the national carrier for the Kingdom of Bahrain, has today announced the cancellation of a flight scheduled from Muscat, Oman.
The airline outlined that the cancellation followed the discovery of a large number of registered passengers who, without consideration for the precautionary health measures taken to protect passengers and crew members or prior notice, had recently returned from Iran via Doha Airport.
Gulf Air highlighted its complete support for national efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to protect citizens and residents and underscored the importance of cooperating with the Kingdom’s health and safety regulations under all circumstances.
Furthermore, Gulf Air underlined that it is taking all necessary measures to maintain the health and safety of its staff and airline crew, noting that they are the company’s most important asset.
