Bahrain : Gulf Air – Bahrain’s national carrier marked the International Civil Aviation Day, aimed at generating and reinforcing worldwide awareness of the importance of international civil aviation to the social and economic development of the world.

”Our celebration of this year’s International Civil Aviation Day coincides with a new vision of review and development in Gulf Air and Bahrain – both proudly achieving several accomplishments at the professional and technical levels. These accomplishments were the result of the efforts of all of our female and male colleagues working at this industry, and today we congratulate each and every one of them for their amazing contributions to aviation,” Gulf Air’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Captain Waleed AlAlawi said.

International Civil Aviation Day is a United Nations recognized day that is commemorated annually on December 7 to demonstrate and strengthen global awareness on the significance of civil aviation in promoting the importance of safety, service efficiency and regularity enforcement in international aviation.
