His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Saturday the US Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Stacey Dixon. The Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the meeting.
HE Interior Minister welcomed the US official for her visit to take part in the annual Manama Dialogue 2021. He highlighted the importance of the annual forum that has been held for the last 17 years to promote joint work and coordination of efforts to face regional challenges.
He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to promote coexistence and peaceful culture as part of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He hailed the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States and joint efforts to reinforce regional and international security. The meeting reviewed security coordination and cooperation.
