Bahrain : Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC), and Deputy Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Duaij Al Khalifa received Paralympic player Abdullah Al Balooshi, and congratulated him for winning third place in the 2022 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships.
Dr. Shaikha Rana praised the role of young people of determination in various sports events, their achievements that they add to Bahrain’s history in this field and how they promote contribute to the Kingdom’s sports sector.
She stressed the keenness of the HEC and its encouragement for higher education institutions to take an interest in sports activities.
Al Balooshi thanked the secretary general on her support for the youth and sports in the Kingdom, appreciating HEC’s care for people of determination.
