Manama :His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, today cast his ballot in parliamentary and municipal elections at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) national polling station.
He stressed that the participation in the elections affirms the level of awareness and national responsibility to support the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
In a statement, he praised the wide popular participation, especially the outstanding youth presence, both as candidates and voters, in the elections.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad praised the continuous work of those in charge of the electoral process, commending their dedicated efforts to ensure the good organization of the quadrennial polls.
