HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has instructed his media office to organise “Your Talent at Home” competition. The event is part of HH’s initiatives that aim to support Bahraini youth.
On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid said that: “We have instructed our media office to organise “Your Talent at Home” competition which comes as part of our initiatives implementing the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to embrace the young Bahrainis and encourage them to unleash their talents and creativities in various fields so as to reflect a perfect image of the Bahrainis’ great capabilities and potentials.”
Furthermore, he revealed that this announcement was made in support to the decisions of the HRH-the-Crown-Prince-led National Task Force for Combating the Coronavirus to cement the social distancing measure in an effort to combat the spread of the virus.
“The event represents an ideal platform for young people to invest their energies in the right way. I invite all young people in Bahrain to participate in this event and showcase their talents,” HH Shaikh Khalid indicated.
It’s worth noting that the event will cover acting, singing, shows, magic, strumming, painting and acrobatics. The event will feature two categories, the first one of which is for people aged 16+ and the other one is for 15-.
Registration for the event will be open from August 4, 2020 until August 15, 2020. HH Shaikh Khalid ordered to allocate prizes worth more than $60,000 for the winners.
