Bahrain : Supreme Council for Youth Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Head of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Bahrain Tennis Association (BTA) Chairman Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa.
He also received in his office at Al Wadi Palace, the Chairman of Bahrain Air Sports Association Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and the Vice Chairman of Bahrain Association for Billiard, Snooker and Darts, Mondher Jawad Al Basri.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the efforts exerted by their associations to develop these sports and achieves their affiliates’ aspirations and ensured honourable results for Bahrain.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was updated about future plans and programmes to enhance the level of players, stressing the importance of doubling efforts to support national teams so that they could achieve positive results.
The chairs of the sports associations expressed their gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, lauding his efforts to develop the sector of sports in Bahrain.
The meeting was also attended by GSA Vice Chairman Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and GSA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar.
