Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed His Holiness Pope Francis at Closing ceremony of Bahrain Dialogue Forum East and West for human Coexistence held on 4th November at Sakhir Palace, during the historic visit of His Holiness the Pope to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Speaking about the rooted principles and values of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty affirmed the longstanding commitment to protecting and adhering to human rights, through action and practise, guided by codified frameworks set out by the National Action Charter and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain to safeguard and implement them, while raising awareness through continuous thought leadership and constructive engagement.
His Majesty confirmed that these commitments are widely endorsed and upheld by the Government of Bahrain led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which works closely with Parliament to reinforce and implement them.
