Abu Dhabi : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today departed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the official visit to the UAE, His Royal Highness met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to review and build upon longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UAE, and to explore ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination, as well as to discuss regional and international developments.
His Royal Highness was bid farewell by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, HE Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a number of senior officials.
Upon departure, His Royal Highness sent a cable to the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception received during the official visit.
His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the depth of cooperation and collaboration between the two countries, and thanks for the unwavering support received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
His Royal Highness expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s admiration for, and pride in, the UAE’s achievements, wishing HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed continued health, and the UAE further growth and prosperity.
His Royal Highness further sent a cable to the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al NahyanHis Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception received during the official visit to the UAE.
His Royal Highness commended the depth of bilateral relations, noting that relations have been bolstered by the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
His Royal Highness further commended the outcomes of the official visit, which yielded a number of agreements, MoUs and plans that further strengthen wide-ranging cooperation between the countries, across many sectors.
His Royal Highness concluded the cable by wishing the UAE continued growth and prosperity.
