Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree 105 of 2021 defining the competent authorities in accordance with Law 10 of 2006 regarding some tasks and competencies of the relevant authorities in oil and gas and the amendment of some provisions of Article 1 of Law 10 of 2006 on the establishment of Bahrain Petroleum Company.
The High Committee for Energy and Natural Resources shall be the competent authority stipulated in Article 1 of Law 10 of 2006 regarding some of the tasks and competencies of the authorities concerned with oil and gas and the amendment of some provisions of Decree-Law 42 of 1999 establishing the Bahrain Petroleum Company.
The Oil and Gas Holding Company shall be the competent authority stipulated in Article 2 of the same law.
The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the decree which takes effect upon its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.
